Can your existing software
work with eInvoicing?
Start by finding out whether you can keep the software your team already uses. FACT assesses supported connections, any additional software needed and the work involved before you commit to a change.
CONNECTING YOUR SOFTWARE
Your existing system comes first.
Assess the options → Agree the work → Test your real transactions
Connecting through Zoho Books is one route we can assess. The recommendation depends on your software, transactions and provider requirements.
SYSTEMS WE CAN ASSESS
Tell us which system and edition you use.
Odoo
Odoo can share information with other software, but the available options depend on your subscription. We check your version, where it is run, the features you use and any changes made for your business.
QuickBooks Online
QuickBooks Online allows other software to exchange invoice information with it. We check your edition, who can authorise the connection and which records and tasks it needs to handle.
Xero
Xero can exchange invoices, credit notes and related information with other software. We check your subscription, access arrangements and how much information the connection needs to handle.
Other ERPs
Using another business management or accounting system? Share its name, version and any changes made for your business. We can assess whether it can share the information needed to connect with Zoho Books.
These connections need to be assessed and built for your business. Being able to share information with other software does not, by itself, mean a system can meet UAE eInvoicing requirements.
YOUR FACT DELIVERABLES
Understand your options before building a connection.
Review of your options
A comparison of the suitable options: connecting to Zoho Books, using another supported software connection or moving to a different system.
What the connection will cover
An agreed description of what the connection will handle, who is responsible and how the completed work will be tested.
Testing & guidance for your team
Checks by your team using typical transactions, a readiness report and clear responsibilities for managing the connection.
Building a connection, correcting records, moving to another system and keeping the connection working are separate services. We agree what is included before starting.
WHAT NEEDS CAREFUL PLANNING
The connection needs to work for your finance team.
Two conflicting records
Unclear ownership between systems can cause inconsistent balances or duplicate entries.
Missing transaction coverage
A software connection may handle ordinary invoices but miss other scenarios your business uses.
Problems that go unnoticed
Someone needs to know when a transaction fails or is delayed, and take responsibility for following it up.
One possible route connects your current software to Zoho Books, which uses its built-in connection to Zoho Software Trading LLC as the ASP. This can involve additional software and development. If you need a different provider, FACT assesses other suitable options.
QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR SETUP
Before you decide.
Will we have to move all our accounting to Zoho Books?
Not necessarily. The assessment establishes which system will hold your accounting records and what another system would handle. Responsibilities, duplicate-entry risks and ongoing support need to be clear before a connection is built.
Are these connections ready-made?
The routes described here require assessment and, where suitable, a connection built for your business. We establish what information can be shared, which transactions must be covered and who will maintain the connection. We do not assume a ready-made connection is available for every edition.
